Our mission
SickleSafe Foundation is organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes: to reduce mortality, suffering, and isolation for families living with sickle cell disease in underserved communities.
We focus first on high-burden communities in sub-Saharan Africa, with additional outreach to underserved sickle cell families in the United States. Every service is designed as a gift to families.
Treatment as Standard
Therapy is provided unconditionally. Wearable compliance earns non-essential incentives only — never gates access to disease-modifying medication. The therapeutic floor is non-negotiable.
Who we serve
Families living with sickle cell disease, especially children and caregivers in communities where consistent support is hard to reach.
Where we operate
Florida-based governance with a primary operational focus on Nigeria and future outreach to US sickle cell communities.
How we are funded
Grants, donors, diaspora giving, corporate social responsibility partnerships, and future signature events.
Governance
A separate nonprofit governed by its own board, books, bank accounts, and conflict-of-interest policies.
